Ngk lead/Takegawa coil?

Ah ok... Yeah mate your probably right, you'd know more about it than me.

My reasoning was that all the power leads in my ct110 were green so I assumed they copied Honda.

I have green to green on coil, green to earth point and black and yellow as power to the black terminal on coil. Excuse the crap photo sorry

I set mine up similar to that, my blue wire to black terminal, black wire to earth and a 3rd wire from same earth point to green terminal.....still no spark

Maybe try splicing the other earth into the loom itsself?

Yeah I will thanks, I seriously thought the way I did it should work just the same! haha
If that fails then maybe the plug boot didn't screw on to the taki lead dead centre????
 
I e-mailed jamie at classic honda and he said green terminal is earth!

I've spliced the earth wire as Stu suggested and still NO spark!!???

Got it sorted!! problem was a loose connector between stator and cdi.

Thanks to everyone that tried to help.
