im not after power just motorwise is it better for the motor?
Have you ever wondered why th oil cooler doesn't get warm... maybe its because it's designed to cool... The cooler is a direct feed from the pump so if you think it doesn't have enough flow your motor is killing itself... i think your entire motor has problems...
Back to the problem... If you think it will make a difference then it will. Get one. They aren't expensive, put it on and at least you will have peace of mind your motor isnt frying itself.

Yes the oil cooler is deisgned to cool so there for the oil cooler should get hot. If it didnt then its not doing its job, the oil cooler is there so that the oil can transfer its heat to the metal then the air transfers its coolness to cool the metal. So if the metal is not getting hot then the oil aint transfering the heat to it so therfore the oil cooler is doin sh** all
