hey guys i got a 150cc engine that was oil cooled, that broke
and replaced with a 125 lifan from DHZ is it easy to oil cool the 125?

yes, you can swap the plate the the oil cooler comes out of, from the 150 to the 125, if the 150 is a crf style engine.. if not, its still simple and cheap

so its just a matter of swapping the 2 plates? and easy peasy?
do i have to fill the oil cooler with anything or what?

Can't help with your problem but, we did a test at the track last week. 110cc semi auto v my GPX160 - temps at the head were 140deg on the 110cc (no cooler) and 95deg on my bike (radiator style cooler). Result - use oil coolers!

I got my ducar 125 at:
barrel: 138
oil: 125

so in my new motard I'm definatly getting a good style oil cooler.
Never buy those cnc or billet oil cooler my friend tested one on her braaap 125 on a 35 degree day and only cooled it down 2 degrees. So get a proper radiator style cooler like no_crf50_here.

Try and get a picture of your engines as they could be multiple styles and work differently.
