it slings oil
but beyond that im also clueless

same effect as a irk... less flywheel weight. not enough is a bad thing tho

yeah you run both but you have to lighten it after you take the flywheel away

i can purchase 1 already lightened but what advantage does does it have does it go behind the irk?

The oil slinger (please correct me if I am wrong as I havent had one appart) splashes oil from the sump onto the crank. The engine has one from the factory as it is essential to ensure proper lubrication of the engine. If you lighten your flywheel or install a IRK you need to reduce the weight of the oil slinger to balance up the engine.
