Hey guys,
I was just thinking bout something today and that was the sticker kit on my PitPro XR 140.
Its jammed up with patterns and PitPro all over it and I wanted something a little plainer.
Is it possible and do you know if anyone has done it, to just peel off the stickers, leaving the black plastic.
Alternatively I was wondering whether they do some nice stickers kits (not plastics) for the PitPro XR 140 because dimensions would change between most models of every bike so I imagine it would be difficult to find one that fits.
Im sure one of you guys out there has changed their sticker kit so I just want your guys help towards stickers and plastics....

Thanks, Mitch.

of cause u can take them off and have it plane black platics, ur plastics a klx110 style im pretty sure soo just get klx 110 graphics

yeh, if I do do this I might leave my back ones on because that has my number 13 on it :)
yeh they are meant to be KLX graphics.
so you reckon they are 110? just go to a kawasaki shop?

Yeh, thanks.
I bought my bike at East 50's and by the looks in the shop they had some plastic kits.
They always seem to have about 3x the amount you see.
Like their website has barely anything on it but their shop has a fair bit.
Might pop into their when im in the city sometime.

Yeah you can peel the Sticker Kit off if you want to...Ghetto look and your Plastics will be damaged quicker though.

I was just about to say you should head into East 50s:
Plastics & Graphics

Id get a NEW Set of Plastics and some Graphics!!!
Will generally make your bike look Much Fresher :)

Yeh, so your saying that it will scratch up real quick?
It would be hard to find, well almost impossible but im really loving the DC graphics with the checkers..
Also liking the look of the monster ones and there heaps of them around for the KLX 110.
Not sure whether I want stickers or plastics, may aswell just get stickers.
Thanks mate.

Yeah, saying the Plastics will scratch up pretty easy without anything protecting them.

One Industries make the Monster Graphics for the KLX110 Style Plastics but havent seen DC ones for KLX110 Style??? ONLY in CRF50 Style Plastics.

If you want New Stickers you may as well get New Plastics...But just depends on how much you have to Spend at the end.

when you peel the sticker off and if it leaves a ugly sticky substance on your plastics , use kerosine to get it off (Y)

yeh I think I will just get new plastics when I want them
I think those black LKX plastics for $68 look alright
Im guessing they come with like a black sticker over it to stop it from scratching?

it probably will scratch if you come off , just like the graphics would... if you plan on running graphics later on they usually cover up all the scratch marks anyway..

but then again if your gonna get graphics later on just wait till you do then peel them off.

Yeah what they are saying is that the Graphics Kind of Protect the Plastic. When they're bare they just get scuffed up easier. Leave the graphics on until you have the new set. Then the plastics will be fresh underneath when the new ones go on. Running no graphics look average aswell anyways.

the best way to get the stickers off is to heat them gently with a heat gun or hairdryer while you peel it, that way they don't leave sticky crap all over your plastics and they peel off real easy. The front numberplate on my pitpro for some reason left a s#!tload of sticky crap anyway so I soaked it in acetone and scrubbed it off.
THe bike looks sick just plain black with a few stickers here n there.
I don't see why you would need to buy new plastics if there's nothing wrong with the old one's, you haven't had the bike very long anyway.

i usually just poor petrol over my bike and set fire to it, it burns the sticker kit off, among other things, pretty quickly.

like pretty much everyone has said, peel the graphics off, and then clean the plastics up a bit with either acetone, petrol, kero, kitchen cleaner, or best of all of them, eucalyptus oil. (ask your mum).
Without graphics on your plastics, the plastics themselves will scratch and scuff up very quickly, especially if you ride in motox gear with boots and knee guards etc.
if you want to run no graphics, find some thick 3M clear contact, and put that over the plastics. it will protect them but still look like no stickers...
Also if your dead keen on a certain set of stickers, make Ebay your friend, and search in there. A lot of the chinese stores on ebay have a bigger range of sticker kits, the quality is the same as the stuff we get here, (difference being it hasnt been imported here, that's it...) and the prices are great.

But better still, do yourself a favour, and go and see Brian at East50's. Pure champion, and has a lot of good stuff in there.
