Got a little problem here.. from some reason the petrol lid and the petrol tank where the cap goes on, i think they just dont match up..
Everytime i try putting the cap on, it just threads the tank... is this a common problem and can i fix this?
Or if i take it back, are they able to swap it over straight away, or will it take time..

Going to frankston today and so im hoping i can manage to get the cap on in time..

where did you buy the bike/cap from?? what bike is it??

Bought it from motorbike city in ferntree gully, its a pit pro 140xr..

can just be a problem from the factory, the threads on the cap will just be too small, if the bikes new they should sort it at the shop for no charge... or if you just got a new petrol tank then you may have to buy the new cap...

very quick and easy fix

The bike is about 2 weeks old, its all the way in ferntree gully so i dont really wana travel there, should i buy a new cap down at my local shop or does it need a certain one to fit?

no specific cap, its just the cap that got fitted in china don't fit properly. hit up the local, hope you dont mind the rain :D

i wish the franga track had kept mini's off that track till it was fully done up, with some rain today its gonna get torn up again and will probably end up worse than b4 they added all the dirt...

Lol does it make much of a difference with the rain? Ive never actually ridden on a track before and have only been riding for like 2 hours all up, is it worth going when its soaked or should i just wait til it dries before i have a crack..

Call up City Motorbikes and Dom will sort ya out. He's a real genuine dude tell him whats goin on and he should replace your cap free of charge
