dhz monster 140

While we are discussing 140cc bikes has anyone sat on or ridden the new dhz monster 140? From the photos the upper section of frame is extended up and the seat looks high compared to the handlebars and i wonder how comfortable this is to ride.

Yea Dustbuster,we have... The DHZ 140 have the same frame as the other good twin tube Pittys. So seat height is the same .But USD forks have a little less travel than Fastace forks so the front of the bike sits a little lower, luckily the forks are nicely sprung so they dont tend to dive excessivly and run out of travel unlike the Fastace 03 forks !!! I am 6ft,2 and the bike feels just fine..

I think he is talking about the new one it has some kind of trestle frame very wierd looking

Thanxs dude.I didnt know they had another frame style.Ill have to have a look at it.

Cheers

Just had a look at their site ,No new frame style for the 140cc bike !!!

they still have the outlaw model 140 I am talking about the new model with kenda knobbys fastace rear shok and that weird looking frame

thats the ugliest farkin frame ever...

Hmm.I see what you mean now.The frame looks wellllll different thats for sure.!!!! Trellis frames designs are strong and light generally ,just look at Ducati's etc....

iI think it looks odd because the tank seat and frame have been raised but the engine hasnt leaving that big gap between frame and engine. Is this design used by any other known manufacturers or race teams?
