chicken is surely the inovator

i've had my vert in the back of a pulsar wheels off cause it annoyed me doin the bars

lol yep that's the video I was thinking of. And Londin, Pete has brought his bike in the back of his Charade which is even smaller than the Corolla so no excuses if we don't see you this Saturday :p

i can get my bike in the back of my barina, laying the back seats down. rear wheel sticks out a bit but i tie the boot down and wind down the windows to elminate the exhaust fumes making me dizzy. maybe dodgy but it gets the bike where i have to go.

i use to cart my 50 in my Mazda 323 all the time LOL but the klx would be a different story....

Yeah Chicken is an excellent human being ....a real the glass is half full as oppposed to half empty sort of guy and yeah at the end of the day I guess it just comes down to how bad ya want it .lol

Well, my mate is not going up north before 23 of Feb so I have a bit of time to find a solution! My XR5 can't have a towbar because of the silencer sitting across of the rear bumber! And after a bit of thourght I not sure I'm going to try fitting the bike in the car...it is a company car after all!
What would a reasonably cheap and still in good shape and not braking down every 2nd time you drive it Ute cost?

You ought to see if Pete has sold his old ute or not. I drove it around for about two months and it wasn't great but it did the job getting to the track and back and around town :)

2 - 4 grand i'd say, i got the brumby for 4 grand and its been a perfect car so far (5 months/7000 k's). but you could probably pick up somthing working for about a grand if you find a bargain i guess, you probably wouldnt use it that much anyway.

Buy a HiLux and take it to get a Decent service. Toyota make a quality, reliable automobile.

I had one of these motorbike carriers.. If you go with this one you will need to put brake and blinker lights on it as well as a number plate mount and number plate light, I got fined $330 with one of the mo tow carriers on the back of my car because my numberplate was not clearly visible, the cop also said I had to mount lights on it or I could get fined for that too.

I ended up selling the mo-tow and buying one from wingham welding, they knew all the laws and have been selling these in australia for 3 years, I am heaps more confident with the design too, just ask to speak to Daniel, he was a great help and was happy to answer all of my 400million questions:rolleyes:

i think i saw rach with 2 pitbikes in her car
i have a bike rack that i put my motovert on there like $200 but my car is bigger than a ford focse (honda odeseey) but does scrap on the road sometimes

lol yeah rach88, put 2 pit pros in her hyundai getz in the back folded seats, took off front wheel and unbolted the rear shock :p

Yeah getz was easy to get the bikes in just dropped the rear shock out and loosened the handle bars. But I'm now the proud owner of a brand new ford focus :D ... and no they don't fit :'( hence why I got it with a tow bar. Dvdrip mashed my bike in the back of my car with the seats down... and it scratched the interior... :( Them trailer carrier things never fit fords tow bars... some one needs to design one that fits its a real pain in the arse!

i have been able to fit a motovert 06 in the back of a ford AU sedan. i just had to take off the handle bars.
oh yeah and if you lye it down make sure fuel doesnt come out.

I mashed my midsize in the back seat of my shitbox 929, just had to take the front wheel off.... U can get a pitbike into any car u just gotta mash it in and take **** off if needed
