Well, I went shopping again....this time $70 poorer....I think not to bad.

Ok so quick look over it, backwheel is cheese again. Has like girls cheap push bike levers adapted to the clutch and front brake...Frame looks good forks and suspension are NOT blown  has a rear brake caliper and brake but no pads, front brake is all there. Apparently has some gear issues...but hopefully thats not to hard to sort. Tyres are near new  I think I did pretty well really!!

Except the bloke I got it off picked himself up a x2 140r for $180.....The other week, clean as, and perfectly running...WOW...NOW THATS A REAL BARGAIN! Oh and I got wind of an MX track up in Nairne....Sam seemed like a good bloke might try get him upto the SA miniriders weekend in Morgan

Cheeeeeeeeese

lol, stu, in the space of a month you've gotten yourself 4 bikes!

whats the plan with this one? you could make it the exact same as your other pitpro!!!

Reps + for noticing but its actually the 5th in I think 6 weeks after the TDR and you guys started me off again....hahahaha!

I tried to explain to everyone I really really really like bikes, riding them, jumping them, and then fixing them!!

I've been out of the game for a while....There was probably a good reason I had a 5 year hiatus from bikes really.....Totally different kind of bikes but yeah, its all the same to the bike gearbox in my brain. Actually pit bike are far far more exciting than hurting myself falling off BMX's...I rode one briefly yesterday and in 2 minutes I was hurting.....stupid things bikes with pedals, I'm finally on the right path...motors AND only 2 wheels!!!

:grinning-smiley-003

haha, good on you for findin the time to work on them, i struggle with 2 bikes as it is! i read that u were interested in selling some parts of it, i might be interested in some, if ur selling.

keep up the good work :)

Yeah I run a small horticulture business, so I get a good amount of time around the place to do stuff. Plus I actually like working on bikes, its even better than working on gardens!!

yea, anything is easy if you enjoy doing it. except changing tyres without levers. no matter how much u like that, its never easy....

Also its got a PERFECT, packed muffler  Which I badly needed...its still looks pretty much like when it came from the shop, the exhaust not so much! Might clean up ok.

Got it running this arvo after work!!

that video makes your flywheel look ok !!
it's not as nice in real life...
this is how not to remove a flywheel, don't use a sledge hammer, and a big flat head screwdriver to pry it off against the engine case, get yourself a $20 puller !!

the gearbox issue of not changing gears is pretty much sorted now, 2nd gear wasn't looking the best
when we took it apart
we swapped in a good countershaft/gear set

stu also found another unexpected problem when he removed the clutch cover too.
the plastic oil pump drive gear had gone to lunch !

compared to a good gear

Wow I cant believe how bad that oil pump gear was! Not that second was much better....Looks much better than it did! I might end up keeping that one and selling the other pitpro motor. I'll pull the head off it sometime and see what kind of shape its in!! I think the foxico 125 will go into this bitsa bike. The other 125 out of the pitpro can go into the bike the 160 is coming out of. I'll run this 125 in my pitpro until the 150 is sorted!

Compared to the other 125s ive had those motors go much better! Even when the 150 gets working, I'll keep one of these, always good to have a spare motor ready to go
