no thanks, don't want to have to set up a clutch
the custom pedals/brakes and caliper mounts were enough work

I have another one with the loom still in tact....should be a straight swap since you done the hard yards already!

not quite, the buggy is a 1 speed full auto, so no clutch and no gear lever

that countershaft flywheel on this 124 is on it's way out too, has movement in the rubbers
i have a good one here out of the same low km engine the gearbox was from.

i found a 54mm cylinder tonight, will check what size the gudgeon pin is in the matching piston
if it is the same gudgeon size, and you put those on the 124(119.7 actual), it will make it a 127cc(6.8kw) also known as a 138, instead of a 119.7cc (6kw)

Righto...one is being sold! You'll have to explain that to me when I'm looking at something!! Still noob

Gudgeion sounds like BIOS....I know which one I understand atm!

it took a bit of mucking around to get the flywheel off today
new flywheel went on ok
but, when i turned it over to check it, i noticed that the crankshaft is bent from all that hammering

geez....thats not good...

So what's been internally replaced so far. 3rd gear, oil pump cog, crankshaft, flywheel. Head has been ported and polished....so thats what I get! At least a nice somewhat race prepped 125 will be the result!! Still costing me a bit more than I was expecting!

so $40 in parts was to expensive for you ?

yeah i haven't compared it to another engine yet.
the hammered flywheel that come off it had at least a 5mm warp/buckle though, this one is a lot less.
i'll measure it up, might be able to get away with not replacing the crank and pulling it all down again. hopefully!

Nah I'm not saying it was to expensive, but surely if the previous 'owner' hadn't taken to it with a sledge hammer, it would have been a lot simpler!....Was trying to do that one on the cheap....and you know I'm a tight arse!! All good made some money this week, and should have a bike to sell tomorrow  maybe two if I have a good day and everything goes somewhat to plan! Once the motor is out of the foxico I'm good. The 160 should bolt straight into that. Then the other 125 I have here will go into the pitpro 160, and I should be able to get at least $400 for that

Well thats annoying...got all the way to here gaskets and then the realisation the manifold is all wrong...no room to re drill holes on the correct spaces...damn!

Dunno if you can see the size difference properly!

Well its done and ready to be sold! Probably the roughest looking bike ive ever seen! Runs nicely though, not really any rear brakes as I found out the caliper is broken at the back! Oh well my mate is only using it for work cause he hates walking up and down the big hill at the property there!

Bash plate is not there, I'll give it to him and let him cut out the necessary holes. Biggest throttle cable ever seen and its my red one  besides from that its all parts I dont really want or need, thrown together!

It kinda makes me laugh but I'm making a slight profit so doesnt bother me to much!

The foxico is pretty fresh but god its slow with a 19mm mikuni on it!!

Nice matching levers....

I also get to rid myself of this hideous red chain guard! No love loss there!

This is what the motor that came out of it now looks like....The other one the same is in the background of the first photo!!

Looks alright man! Way better then some of them hanging in Facebook forsale/swaps

here's a couple of better pics of the original engine, after having 2nd gear replaced, new oil pump gear and another flywheel fitted.
plus a quick respray

Cheers Craig. Yeah that thing should go reasonably well now its been ported. It will certainly go better than it did before! That will have to go in the PitPro 2008 until something else comes along...especially after hearing about that yx, Might get that and just fix the Lifan 150 and sell it on.

Well my mate is coming to have a look at it tomorrow. He said he wanted something for $200 or under. He can have this for $200. Just looking at it now those BSE foot pegs are better than the standard pitpro ones. Will have to swap them back tomorrow!!

Bit of a wash! I'm half impressed with it! Ended up being 16..41 gearing and once its in midrange it does quite well!! Being picked up in 20mins bye bye little Foxico motor!

Sold for $250  might get that yx 150 now....
