anything under 1G doesnt get dutied and taxed

to order through them and having it landed is way cheaper than buying here in aus

no matter what aus retailers say or do its all down to savings and if i can save near or over 150 then im going yank spec

does classic honda have a shop front?if they dont then there should be savings from overheads and other types of mark up that are clearly making our purchases hell overpriced

my 2 cents and also i can order through them in the usa and my items come from the usa not from local stockist as i wouldnt have bought from the usa(the cheaper alternative) if that was the case

if ya talking about TB USA pretty sure you'll find that will not ship outside of america and will refer you to the nearest local dealer as for buying TB parts from other vendor's in the states they will ship here..

TB Parts in Australia

Hi

Spoonta, do you run a business in Australia?

The 10% GST and 5% to 30% Customs duties and charges do not help Australian business retail prices.

It would be good to see the American businesses start sponsoring the Australian mini bike races and riders like we do.

Cheers

Jaimie

Mate, Not attacking you or anything like that.. we're just trying to source the cheapest parts we can and as you know times are tough for Everyone at the moment..

I remember when i bought a 143RH kit from classichonda aus and a few other bits , the prices where as good or better then what was quoted from U.s after exchange and everything.. and im sure he could get any TB part ordered in as he did for me.

I will always get engine parts from Classhonda Aus.
There alot easier to deal with also.

edit: also when i bought the 60mm tb piston the Exhaust relief looked bigger then the intake relief which seemed odd , so i let him no and he went and checked all the 60mm pistons he had to make sure there wasn't a fault . and let me no all his looked the same way . was just abit of a illusion because the pocket was on a different angle and deeper.

well said jaimie. what most people dont understand is that if we all shop over seas for what we want there will be no shops here at home, also what do you do when you get the wrong part or need to claim warranty. then the parts arn't so cheap after all.

Plus Americans have 10x bigger market over there , so they can allow to price things alot cheaper then down here

True. wasn't trying to say they were ripping everyone off, just comparing prices.. if the option was there i'd buy Aussie at the drop of a hat anyway.. just window shopping around to see what's what etc.

and when theres no shops at home, we will have fun getting last minute bits for a day ride or what ever ay

its just a pitty its too expensive to manufacture things over here..

i seriously dont see why everyone flames the australian distributors (not in this case but there has been in others, and i do realise you only wanted to get the cheaper part .) but i think it would be much more convenient to go through the aus distributor because theres alot less troubles and things to deal with .

I know people will buy over seas for the better price as well as they probly have a better part or a part that isnt in australia but we need to support the australian industry because if no one buys australian the sport will go down hill fast and then we have nothing , so i think if its in australia and its not hundreds different in price just buy it here and you will save with hassles with GST and shipping etc .

are you reffering to tboltusa or just tb usa?

becuase tboltusa will ship to oz

EDIT: i understand about the whole thing about running a business and all but i dont know about all of you but i struggle to afford my mini as it as so i havent yet bought stuff from the US but probly will do so soon like if it your gaoing ot save money why wouldnt you

this is just my opinon nothing more
