hey i've got a cheap pocket bike and just can't start it
i recently topped up the gas but i just can't get it to start

also should the choke be open or closed as the manuals no help at all

also it seems to leak oil out of the joint between muffler and exhaust
(its 2 rides old)

thanks for any help

ok yes choke on and it might need a few pulls, give it a bit of throttle while your trying to start it.
have you been using mixed fuel and what ratio are you using i think they should be 25:1.
good luck.

yup using 25:1 an have tried plenty of times to start it

i heard that if you put a dab of petrol on the sparkplug it'll start easier, is this true?

yeah or you can use stuff that is made for spraying on the plug to help it start but try to stay away from it, it burns out ya piston

You could try some aerostart or start ya barstard. But you should also check that you have spark to actually ignite the mixture.

These cheap arse bikes are cheap because they are crap and do die very early after you get them so dont rule out that something has already packed it in.
