What's the fix for auto to manual clutch? (I'm putting in an Outlaw 140). Although I have a spare Honda autoclutch.

gday ixlr8 i have looked into the outlaw140 but keep getting told just get the 140 big bore as the honda bottom end is much stronger?have u heard anything like that?
 
[I have my postie pretty much sussed . was unsure of the wiring thanks 4 the pic excellent just need to know where the green wire coming out the coil goes to?

The green wire from the coil goes to the kill switch ... :)
 
But the lifan doesn't rev out as much as i expected it too? I? expected the lifan to rev higher than the honda motor.
Question : Anyone know for sure how high (RPM) the lifan are supposed to rev?
Q: I think an aftermarket CDI unit would let it rev out?

Yeah , 120/125/127/140's won't rev as hard as 70 to 110's due to the longer stroked crank ...... around 8,000 to 8,500 is tops unless you fit a race cam and springs ..........

I've seen race modded CT110's and they angle the carb and manifold to face forward ...... OR you can remove the frame covers .. :p

Hi s8npostie, When I've searched 140's, the general opinion is that they're fast and acceptably robust. Little comparison I've seen re Honda and 140 Chonda. I'll take my time to replace the holed crankcase, err, rebuild really on the 110.
 
they dont rev out with the original air intake i fitted a 1979 ct90 with a gpx125 and it didnt rev out untill i had the 30 mm mikuni carb and hi flow mufler postie parts are too restricted
