Ive just had a over sized piston (125) and 1x tooth larger rear sprocket fitted to my bike to get some extra go. Thinking about fitting a new exhuast next but looking for one that can offer more power than noise? Want a little more growl but nothing to hardcore. Supplier? Cost? Model?

Cheers

For a posty bike you'd be looking at getting a custom made down pipe ... I don't know how you're going to go with the increased noise thing though since performance increase and noise increase seem to skip happily along together ... hand in hand ... :p

Mac posted pics on how to make a muffler that increased power but kept the noise down ... I'll see if I can dig the thread up for you ... (Found it !)

A place called Skyway used to build reverse cone megaphone pipes for modded XR75's and they claimed they were 10% quieter than stock ... but gave 10% more power ... They used a patented spiral fluted core ... I can't find any specs or info on how they were configured tho' ....

Pic of a reproduction Skyway pipe ...

Akunar sells down pipes ... some of their Honda wave pipes might fit ...

Exhausts

I had some pics here of how I did my postie bike exhaust awhile back.

Thanks heaps for the tips and links. Probably would've helped if i re-read my msg b4 posting. would have explained the typo. I went 1x tooth larger on the front sprocket for more top end speed.

Any one else got Postie build info and pic's?
