Hello All,

I just got my new parts today to mod my Razor PR200 pocket pike. I got the

-MX500 throttle + controller
-A new 12v 8ah battery ( To go with the 12v 7ah batteries that came stock, i read that both will work fine together )
-36V Charger ( Which doesn't fit my current charge port but nowhere did i read that needed to be changed too, apparently it does though )

I wired the 3 batteries in series exactly to this diagram here, http://www.modifiedpowerwheels.com/f...ng_diagram.jpg

Everything was working before i modded this, NOW, it gets a light on the new throttle, the charger appears to be working fine, but when i twist the throttle i get no response, it COULD be the battery wiring but then i don't think anything would get power. I have it charging right now to see if maybe that 3rd battery not being fully charged could effect it but it's doubtful, any suggestions?

hey mate i got a razor mx200

it does make a differance because all batteries have to be equaly charged.

i would advise you not to charge a 24v battery pack with a 36v charger, you will over power the motor and the batterie packs

it could also be that maybe you didn't wire the battery packs right.

the razor mx500 throttle runs on a 36v battery pack, where yours is only 24v (like mine)

be careful you don't seazze the motor mate

anyways

hope i helped ;)

I have three 12v 7ah batteries wired in series to make it 36v, as it is right now i actually can not even use my 36v charger if i wanted to because i need to get the right charge port to fit it.

I am thinking it has to be either that i fried a battery or my wiring wasn't done properly enough to get enough power to where it needs to be, or a combination of both. I am taking it to check the batteries with a voltmeter today and grab some 12g wire instead of the 10g i used and see if that makes a difference also ( Because the gauges were different my connectors i had to solder on etc. were fitting so i had to cut some individual wires out of the 10g cable, not sure if this would effect it but.. )
