project war machine is my Custom built ride on mower still in very early stages we are hoping to brake 100mph on this mower to brake the current world recored of 86mph the Guinness World Records gide lines say that it 1 must look like a mower 2 muct still need to cut grass 3 move with at least i person under it oun power and 4 cut grass and move undewr its own power other then that anything goes if anyone has any ideas on making a ride on go 100mph+ let me no so far i have made the chassis and now need to work out a axle and sterring set up also looking for a motor hope to find something out of a 1000cc road bike so if you have 1 lying around let me no

I wouldn't limit yourself to 1000cc... Go the Busa motor! ;)

Keep an eye on the auction sites and you can get yourself a complete engine/ignition etc fairly cheap. My friend picked up a damaged 2008 Busa for $5,500 delivered to Melbourne from Tas. The motor is now in a Suzuki Cappuccino :p

(I think he made back around $3k selling off the rest of the bike as parts!)

ill get pics as soon as it looks like more then steel box frame as thats where it is right now i only got the gide lines from Guinness World Records a few days ago and its still very early days hoping to have a go at the recored early next year as there is much more the getting it to go fast i need it to stay on the ground and not have tyers blowing apart at full noise also as it needs to cut grass i run in to the problem of how to run blades with out putting to much time in to getting them to turn atm thinking a pocket bike motor on its side with a chain drive to run the blades and that way it will be easy to rip it all out when time comes to go ffffaaaaasssssttttttt and its finding the parts to make it work or making parts all takes time and working 6 days a week dont leave a lot of time as is also the cost i want to keep down and if i can brake the current world recored of 86mph and then spend some time on getting a bigger real go fast moter in it i can go back and smash it and go for 200kph

You are going to want to make it low, wide and long..

This is the best thing I can think of that you could get ideas off..

Then where the bike frame, seat and tank are place your ride on shell there...

And don't forget the victor stickers!

Try and find sponsorship aswell man, that always helps..

im trying to get some sponsorship atm and it needs to still look like a ride on but i t looks like i found a fj1000 bike that runs well and looking for the back end out of a atv so it will have chain drive and a disk for the brakes and bearings so i can make some mounts so it will fit up on the chassis bur as wide as i can most big atvs will have a wide enough back end and it i mount it all up on top of the chassis it will help kepp it low coz i dont want wind getting under it at 100mph+ or it will flip and trying to work out how to make a chain gide and tenshioner srt up so i can run the motor up front and help keep the front end on the ground as well best i can think of right now is a few sprockets with a shaft and bearings as a idler pulley type set up i have a gey that can do a heap of promp stuff on radio and tv when the time comes so any sponsors will get what they pay for as will prob be on the news ands all that and i might be able to swing some time at the airport on 1 or there not being used runways iv been told they hire them out for a cost but its straight and flat and enough space to slow down again so far the hardest thing is tyres as mower tryes will exploed at that speed dont no about some off a atv but thinking 13" car but them they heavy any one wit ideas id love to here them i might be mad but still want to live long enough to see my name in the Guinness World Records book
