watercooled engine looks good, but also adds more stuff to go wrong too.
the water pump must be oil driven ? it's running off the oil filter, that would put a fair bit more load onto the oil pump and pump gears.

i found a water cooled barrel/head for a Daytona 150/190 while looking through stores on the web one night.
it was almost twice the price of the standard ones though
then you need to add the pump and radiators/hoses etc

and the grip tape on the frame, the owner must do some serious whips etc !!

it is blender, i no there is a lot that could go wrong with it, but if you have the coin to build that bike, im sure you would have the coin to make any repairs :) i love the idea of water cooling a anima, as daytona give such strict instructions on the anima's safe operating temps.... i do not have the cash for that tho!!

Knew it ! Bloody nice looking engine though, I cannot see my self using it, i'd have to frame it or something, lol

Damn bucci motos making the lxrs look bad. Nice bike if you have about10 grand

Grumpy at Allbikes has the new Daytona carbys in with fuel injection ports on them....He said thats coming next...They're already making carbys to suit so....sounds like fun

Anyways random radness...they should hold speed and style comps on pittys!! I enjoy this!

those manifolds are still the same as what they were when they first came out stu

nah i haven't heard anything about it.
he mentioned the big boss on the front of the Daytona manifold, is where the injector will be mounted when Daytona designed it

yeah, i had seen they had the mounting point on the manifold, stu just got my hopes up that i might have been able to get a factory injection system for the braaap a lot sooner than expected. i guess there would be a lot of r and d involved for daytona to be confident in releasing it to the public...

i would rather one from the daytona factory thats designed for the 190 tbh, that way i no i wont cause any nasty problems. the aftermarket one's available are based on the ct110 injection system arent they?

Come on...this is why you spend the big bucks!!! I wish Id known Craig when I was riding DH...he could have sorted my bikes so they'd do what I needed them to do and WAY cheaper than factory prices...I mean I complain about the Jap bikes...but its NADA compared to OEM DH stuff back pre 2000....
