i cured the engine enamel clear coat with the heat gun set on 500° C for 10 mins, paint isn't drying to well tonight , lol

Ah I was wondering why you were up so late....watching paint dry, that makes sense!! How was his reaction today?

Maybe call them? Looked like they were fair busy the other day, and just had those heads laying on the counter ready to be picked up...your uncle hasnt seen you paint many things has he?

i called them at 11am, still hadn't had a chance to do it, was told they'd ring me back.
then we went up to buy a power steering pump rebuild kit from lonsdale and called in and saw them,
it was on the machine being faced then, then it was all checked and half an hour later we got it.
only put us behind another 3/4 of a day !!

yeah he used to be a regular visitor at my workshop at Lonsdale.
i painted his old XB ute about 12 years ago, and did a bit on his 66 Fairlaine too

I'll have to check that race series out...I saw Guy Martin in there...complete nutter!! Isle of Man TT is back on now too :thumbup: loved watching it as a kid!! Now we have go-pros and ****...its so good to watch an onboard lap of this...just to have an idea of how dead you'd be if you messed up to badly!! No real room for error when you're doing 250+ km/h with poles, concrete curbs and brick walls to hit!! Are you going to come up to Morgan in late June or July mate? Trying to work a date out which suits as many people as possible!
