Removing oil cooler?Is it safe?

The CNC ones are pretty crap. I have one and it's what unit mx has. After a while of riding the oil cooler gets shit hot anyway.

well this blokes bike is differnt and the oil cooler hooked on at the side of the head =) but for the time being he put a tube on there and and got a new side cover but are yours on the crankcase or somewhere??

yeh there on the clutch sided crank case ,so i guess theres no real easy solution.

Will the oil cooler lines on this cooler be able to reach my crankcase if the cooler is mounted just above my engine head?

It looks like you are going to mod the bracket you have now though.

ill put a billet one on there or somethin and mount it closer to the engine

You obviously didnt look at the link I posted. You CANNOT bolt the holes up unless you want to blow your top end up. I linked the lines up before when my cooler snapped off but it wouldnt be safe to keep riding it without an oil cooler.

it was way out of tune (the carby that is) we checked all the basics like spark, fuel entering the cylinder, wiring, compression , etc. all good so we had a look at the carby and tuned it

mate harder than any bike without a chain lol.Does anyone know if a thick nylon block spacer used between the oil cooler and mount will provide adaquate viabration absorbnce

i also filled the gap on the other side of the hinge weld between the frame and hinge with silicon ,not sure if that would do much.
