G'day all. I just got a mail saying I could get my 138 head exchanged for one that has been ported and polished. As I have not rebuilt a 4 stroke top end before, could somebody please explain the correct procedure. Main question I need to answer is, How do I have to remove the cam chain?
Thanks Ride on.

Thanks alot. I'm downloading it now.

What Dano doesn't tell you, is to release the cam chain tensioner bolt. You will need to do this to re-install anyway.

Just make sure the cam sprocket from the new head has the same amount of teeth and also is lined up exactly at TDC. Torque the head bolts to 8 ft-lb and set valve clearances to .003 Inlet and .004 Exhaust. EDIT -Thats in inches.
