ok so I thought cos I live up the bush id make a thread about riding in the bush :)
PROS
no police to hassle you
no one around to complain
adventure and discover mad places to ride
endless dirt tracks for miles
build a track anywhere and no one to destroy it
local police are pretty friendly lol
trains tracks always lead somewhere
CONS
its always dry and stinkin hot
closest petrol station is like 45mins away
kangaroos and wallabies always jump out in front of you when ya pined
no reception if some has a bad stack an ya need to call someone
never gets muddy :(
cos ya so farr away if you buy something online it costs so much extra to get it to your door

so where abouts are you from?
i googled wadiya, wa diya and come up with nothing

HAHAHA wadiya is from the movie the dictator  about an hour out of Bendigo in Victoria

ok, ^^ did you remember your old password ?

the dictator is trully a hilarious movie. i suggest it to all.

Bush riding is great, i have 258 acres at my place, and about 120 of that is old logging roads, great for exploring with mates!!

Yeah bush riding FTW!!

Man I love it. The massive hills, the scenery and fresh air. Can't beat it. Awesome test of your riding skills (or lack of lol) and challenges you in every way. Love tracks as well but to me it get's a bit repetitive after a while. Always something new and fun in the bush.

Heading away this weekend for a camping and to smash the bikes. Can't wait. Always a wicked day.

Here a clip from one of the rides we did this year with Coolie and a few other mates. Was a tops day. Any ride with a pub half way is a win. haha

I'm on the Honda
Coolie the RMZ

yeh figured out my old past word :D hahahah dictator is a pissa :LolLolLolLol: yeh I do love bush riding but wish it got more muddy hardly ever rains here and we always have to take like 5 huge jerry cans every time we go into town

Come down too vic mate. Hardly get's dry down here in winter. That clip was pretty muddy. Its clay as well so whole lot of wheel spin.

I'll say! Doesn't take much to get you facing the other way does it?

Epic hill climb @4:30. Mick chicken would be proud of ya! :)

Yeah got to love bush riding I go out to Enfield state forest in vic it's awesome out there and its massive there's some crazy hills and endless tough tracks to tackle I take my xr400/440 out there and I've taken my pit bike there afew times to the single trails are awesome on the pit bike, in my opinion nothing beats bush riding the scenery, wild life, constant changing terrain and all the random things you come across on the way it's the best the only thing I don't like about it is when I get lost haha

Yeah it's got a lot of clay out there. Little bit too much Gas and around you go.

That was me that laid it over on the hill climb at the start. Tried to bounce the bike over a big rock. Needless to say it didn't work. lol.

yeh I live in vic motorman near Bendigo where abouts do you ride??

We generally ride out the eastern side of town. That was up in Warburton. Go to Neerim, Noogee and right down gippsland as that's were I grew up.

Easy fix. Get a GPS. Saved me a few times. Just sit's on the handlebars and away you go.

yeh been lost countless time hahaha yeh been up to noogee a few times shooting saw a HUGE red roo thing was like 7ft tall :O but never rode there but brought my kelpie from there yeh gps would be the go id use my phone but don't have much reception up this way the place you guys were riding in that clip motorman looks sick would love to ride there

Yeah I need a gps what one do you have motorman have you got one that's made for bikes I took my car gps in my bag once but not one of the tracks in Enfield showed up on it so wasn't much help and my phone had no service at all, what gps is a good one to get anyone that has a recommendation let me know thanks

I got an older version of this one:

http://www.wiggle.com.au/garmin-etrex-30-gps-hand-held-unit/?lang=au&curr=AUD&dest=27&utm_source=pla&utm_medium=base&utm_campaign=au&kpid=5360463776

You can get cheaper ones though as long as you stick with Garmin as they are the best by far. Just get color and make sure it accepts maps. You can download some pretty good ones for free (Shonky maps and Aussie Explorer 4WD maps).

Then you need some RAM mounts to mount it on the bars:

http://www.rammount.com/

So much better on the bars so you can just look down and don't even need to stop.

It really is a great investment. Especially when you come across some sweet single trail and can mark it so you remember for next time. :)

Yeah I'm goin to get one of them for sure they look good it would save me so much stress trying to find my way back to the car after riding into the bush for 2 hours takes me like another 3 hours just to find my way back out haha deffiantly goin to invest in one I think

That's the best part, can go anywhere and not have to worry about that.

I learnt the hard way. Ended up running out of fuel and having to go to some farm house in the middle of no where just to get some.

Brought the GPS the next day. Lesson learnt. haha
