rmx 97 250 advice on troubleshooting

last week took the beast for a squirt started ok after approx half an hour i stoped for a break as i was thirsty as hell but when i went to kick her over again she wouldent go some guys at the track came to assist still no luck then we clutch started it ran well but after that i have had trouble starting it ..i have checked the spark and it is fine fuel is geting to the carby and air filter is clean i have heard to try to tip it slightly to get fuel to cime out the overflow even tryed this method any help will be appreciated thanks

check your spark plug

you may have a fouled plug?

gettin spark?? clean carby out, get a new plug just in case, thats all i can think of. let us know how ya go

i think i better take the old girl in for a check up all i have to do now is get more dollars from the mrs lol

sounds like it might be time for a new piston and rings or at least rings. its pretty easy to do i can rebuild my cr in about 2 hours over a few beers. thats what i love about 2 strokes they are so simple.
