Hey all,

Just thought I'd share
My friend/EX was talking a while ago about getting her son his first bike and a few weeks ago she asked if I could help. We got pricing on Crf50's and she looked around at other stuff , I was pumped on her getting him a stocka but when he had seen that it was red his immediate reply was .."no I don't want a red one ..!!. I want one like Roy's!!" Lol
(Love this kid , not long ago he wrote my name all over her house in permanent marker the couch still bears my name as she couldn't get it out lol)
Anyway I tried to explain to him that it didn't matter what colour it was , that it was a good bike and we could make it look however he wanted . He wouldn't have a bar of it and would only consider a blue one lol , Cut too.. Rang Greg at Buzz and sorted out a deal on a bike and all the gear for less than she'd been quoted for a CRF alone , obviously there is a difference in quality but he's just turned 5 and its his first moto so I think it will be fine and he wouldn't know any different.

Sooooo....... After the boys governed her down a bit I got Santa to drop it off at mine for Pre delivery service

So at first I thought I'd just chuck some spare shrouds on for a bit of a laugh and so he'd think his bike was like mine , I had heaps of stuff spare from all my bikes and grabbed a couple bits nothing to fancy but thought he'd like it

It really wasn't doing it for me at all and I thought stuff it this kid deserves the world I didn't have complete stuff but I managed to pull it together pretty well and I'm hoping he loves it can't wait to see his face when he sees it ill be going round real early to see him get it and can't wait to have a ride with him
Couldn't help myself he's part of the crew now lol

Got a bit carried away but had heaps of fun and it only took a few hours which will hopefully bring him years of smiles merry Xmas

Little mate will have tears in his eyes with excitement! Race numbers make it go faster , Take your bike around n cut some laps with him only thing left to do then

I love those little atomik 50's, was thinking of getting one myself, and doing it up like people do with crf50's. parts would all fit on from sano, red baron, etc, so would be great project!
Any way, +reps for what your doing, might have some competition at the races soon!
