Just looking at the sava tech information, under racing scooter tyre soft it says the 12inch 120 should be put onto a 2.75 rim.

Tyres for scooters, motorcycles, mopeds and karts

Ive got the DHZ 2.5 wide rim, would i be better off putting the 100wide tyre on my rear?? Sava recommend's the 100 be put on a 2.5 rim.

Does anyone know of the effects by putting a tyre on a miss matched rim?? Wear, lean angle...ect..

Looking at the Sava catalogue it looks as though they put a fair bit of r'n'd into their tyres.

I am sure there will be some overall effect, but on a mini i wouldnt think it would be very noticable, however i could be wrong?

i am running the DHZ Billet rims, 3.00 front and 3.50 rear on my build and looking at a 110 front and 120 rear in CST's

Running it on a wider rim will flatten the profile of the tyre off. I too run the DHZ 3.00 and 3.50 rims and On the weekend was the first race using them and I found that they were great and you can get right to the edge of the tyre. Any more lean angle and I would roll off the side but... I was dragging pegs around every corner and couldn't physically lean over anymore anyway.
So what you will find is that running a wider rim will be fine!

I rode his bike on Sunday and he has the PMT mediums on. Pocket Racing Bikes - The minimoto and pocketbike specialists

they freaken hammer. the bike was moving around all over the place (because i was pushing) and the confidence was amazing! you can feel the limit with these tyres and push and push. they give you warning when they want to let go.

on a decent horsepower track i think i was maybe a second off the fastest big fully decked out aprilia SXV 550. i think the big bikes have a new respect for us now.

I ran pmts on my pocket bike and they **** all over savas. If I ever got riding motard again, they would be what I would get. That or CSTs.

I run Savas 100/90 front with 2,5". Rear 120/80 with 3.0". Here guys who are running with 3,5" rear told it´s better.

What tire do you guys use on wet track over there? We use Sava Monsum, but there is not so big differece with normal MC31.

what track were you able to ride with the big bikes ?:cheer2:
up here on some tracks they wont lets us on with the big ens:ballchain:
you at the island 2011? hope they make a class for us????

ooooo yeah ill have my motard beast there. i might even ride my pocket bike in a class just to get some more time on the orsum track. and there will definately be a junior and senior motard class. we have 2x tracks here that let us ride with the bike bikes. i think its because we can stick it to them.

and the absolute wet tyres of choice are definately the PMT wets.
