hi i have the prox atomik and i dont like the seat its preety crap so i want to buy a flat one. How do i take the standard seat off and what size seat should i look for, do they all fit?

hmm,

my dads mate had this with his ttr250 and he just took the seat to a apolstrer and they put some new foam into it and put the cover back on.
the cover fit because the cover was a bit bigger. u might have to get another cover or somthing if it dosnt fit.

i want a new flat seat not upholster. i called and they told me $55 dollars but i dont know how to install it. i just unscrewed the one screw under the seat now how do i take it off?

try lifting it have u undun the bolts neer the rear mud gaurd?

the only screw i found is under the seat at the back unscrewed that. do i just lift the seat up? i wont break any clips or anything or are there any more screws i need to unscrew? thanks

Hi mate you have to undo the two top side plate screws and then slide the seat back and then lift it up but if you have the newer model it might be different. As for the flat seat i'm not shore but I wan't to get one two, hope this helps.

all i did was unscrew the screw at the back, tried to pull the seat off lol but it wont come off. i still cant find the other 2 screws there arnt any visible ones from the outside but theres just 1 infront of the fuel tank but that isnt it.

does anyone have any pics or something i still dont understand sorry

alright thanks back on track.. do i take the whole plastic off or just the screws?

then slide it off. any other clips or screws i need to take off?

You really only need to take the top on of but if you want you can take the bottom left on off then the whole side plate will come off, and no there the only ones you need to take off. Hope i've helped and good luck.
