I have a 140 Atomik Nitrous. it is a fun bike to ride but i am finding the front shocks are bottoming out quite a bit, Can I do somthing to fix this with out spending lots of $ or do I need new forks and shocks ? I am an average rider and weight 75 kg

regards Luke

you can tune the forks with different weight oil's if you want to give that a go take a look here:
http://www.miniriders.com/running-gear/15778-how-change-oil-usd-forks.html Or you could get better suspension which will make it a much better handling bike. Measure the length of your forks (from the top to the eye at the bottom (where the axle goes through) then look for a set the same length.

Look on Mini Bikes | Pitbikes | Dirt Bike Parts & Accessories | DHZ Mini Moto
Or on ebay.

Your rear shock should be a 280mm but i would measure as well just to be safe.

Good luck.

You'll probably need to replace them mate, The front and rear suspension on all atomiks are crap!

I bought a DNM HRC rear shock for my bigfoot reign the other day because I smashed my tail light to bits when riding in the bush, it fully bottomed out over a washout

Yeah thanks for the info, I looked on the DHZ web site and I am looking at around $400 bucks for a new front shocks, So I am not sure if I should spend the money on my atomik 140 Nitrous or just save up money sell the bike and get a new DHZ OUTLAW 140. Are the shocks on this bike good ?

I like my Atomik 140 Nitrous It goes well and has plenty of power but I weigh 75 Kg and the shocks are letting me down and just reaching there limit all the time just over bumps when I ride the bike hard.

Yeah its expensive mate but you pay for what you get really.

Suspension is one of the most important parts on the bike, I weigh 75kg too so I know how you feel lol
I would ride a mini if I wasn't 6 foot 3! lol

I found the rear shock is worse than the forks on mine, only bottom them out once lol which is still bad.

Remember to check the length of your forks - mine are 735mm for a bigfoot to give you an example.

Front shocks

How would this shocks go in my atomik nitrous, The Current shock lengh is 620mm and these ones are 660mm. so there are a bit longer
