Alright so my bike is in need of a long awaited rebuild.
When i started off the problems where as listed.
Forks dead
Rear linkage annihilated
Two broken bolts in the base of my 190cc
Paint chipping off the frame.
Rear brake bent
Rear brake bearings dead.
Chain dead.
Chain slider dead
And a few other bits and pieces
So she is now in the process of being stripped and rebuilt.
First off came a bulk lot of Pitster parts from some guy up in Sydney that was selling
Near new Gpx Black label forks
Swingarm
Rear Dnm shock.
New Linkage
Tripple clamps
Plastics
tank
Seat
And a rear china wheel
All for $300 :O
I cannot thank the man him self Brendo enough for picking them up and posting them too me. Look up legend in the dictionary and you will find Brendo's name.
Anyway I got the parts after maybe a week and at that same time I had Stu(Gottagetacheaperhobby) sending me some Engio forks.
So with most of my parts basically here i started stripping down my bike.
First came the wheels.
Then the forks and triples.
You know the bolt is tight when it wont release with a 200Nm rattler. Had to bring out the big guns
The swinger was next to come off.
And then the motor.
Now to get out the two stainless steel bolts that I snapped from launching a 65ft odd jump to flat( I ain't doing that again).
They came out quite easily actually. Used a left hand drill bit and a extractor to get them out.
Next step was the motor. Pulled the clutch cover off to see if it was fried(which it is) and noticed my main clutch nut was loose.
Valves are still in spec and are still tight.
A new piston will be ordered but I have been looking for a High comp piston.
Well thats it for now.
New parts and Engios.
Things i need
48mm Top and bottom Triple clamps.
Piston
Clutch
New sticker kit. In the works
And a colour change could be needed XD
We shall see in the next few days.
Cheers guys
