Hey, when you mentioned that the Z155 and the YX150 YX160 clutches are the same, yeah they are.
It's just the Z155Ho and Z160Ho that are different (they are deeper)

Phils tb basket was on a yx wasnt it? Cause I had to swap the rear gear over on that to use it on the 160ho, was different teeth count..hence my assumption the two gears are different..

Yeah the YX use a bigger gear on the Basket, with a smaller one on the crank.
The 67T gear on the 6 plate baskets give's the gearbox a better primary ratio

Ah ok, I couldnt get the big gear that was on phils old tb basket to mesh with the kick start gears on the 160ho. Different size teeth...

Yep,
So to make the TB basket work with the original gear it came with (69t) from Phil, you would have needed to fit an 17T YX crank gear to your Z160Ho
and it would give your engine more down low, but lose about 10km/h off your top speed.

The difference in the primary drive gear ratios were 4.06/1 in the YX160, and 3.722/1 in the Z155Ho and Z160Ho

Glad I didnt go that way then, i would of been scratching my head a little at the results i reckon. Its all good to know anyways
