Depends on what type of speedo you're after... If it's a simple digital speedo, you'll need a magnet on your disc and the pickup on the fork leg in line. If you want a cable driven speedo, good luck 
Did you have a particular speedo in mind or have you bought one already? I'd recommend getting a bicycle speedo; this may sound silly/lame but a lot of them do >100kph (I know of a few that run to 300...) and will be cheap and easy to setup. Just make sure you get one you can set the tyre circumference in mm with

and also make sure it is one that will accept the small tyre circumference of a pit bike wheel. i tried to put one on my go-kart but the wheels where to small

Awesome unit and has heaps more info than just a speedo. Engine Temp/Rev's/Ambient Temp/Trip/shift lights can be programmed.
Runs a magnetic pickup in the disc.
For memory it was $200.

my bike does not have a disk, its drum brake?
