starting problems

my atomik 125 is having issues kick starting, it usually takes ages for it to start and the bike 2 weeks old and when it does start and i let it idle it sometimes shuts off.

you turning the choke on when starting it cold?

Try adjusting the idle screw and make it rev higher or if thats not your problem take your carby off and clean the jets.

Have you checked the valve clearances, this can cause the issues you described along with a dirty carby

Check fuel lines, check spark, Replace stock fuel and oil, make sure choke is on when 1st starting, Check wires to make sure none are shorting, and finaly check that u hooked ur kill switch up correctly.
