Stomp 125 bogging out

Hi all ive tried looking but i cant find what i need, ive just got a stomp 125 pitibke(brand new) but it keeps boging out esepically in 4th ive took the spark
plug out what looks kinda white but with black on it aswell i was wondering if it was running to lean or something? any help apperticated i can upload a photo of the plug if this help thanks

explain the bogging out more...
could be valve clearances, slide needle, poor fuel tank ventilation, bad plug, dodgy cdi unit, choked up air cleaner...
list goes on..

Like Sean mentioned it could be a alot of different things id probably start with the simple stuff first....

Check valve clearances
clean your air filter
chuck some new fuel in it
check all your fuel lines and vent hose
try a new plug
Look for any air leaks around the manifold (broken old gaskets)
make sure all the manifold bolts are snug
have a look at your float height
and if all that gets you no where ......

Try adjusting the needle height
pulling the carb apart and check your jets are clear of dirt and give it all a good clean / blow out with air compressor

Still no good .....

Maybe start looking at ignition components : CDI unit , stator etc.....

Thanks for the replies, well wen im goin along it just starts to bog when you hold it a a cinstant speed then most of the time fine when i give it more throttle, what are valve clearances?

Ive just watched a video on how to do the valve clearances so dont worry about that, im guna get a new plug tomorrow see ifthat work
