hopefully one day you get to ride a bike with the 175 in it

cause i've riden both and my 175 is much better power and torque

it will be interesting to see what thump has to say when he gets his

The day i ride a "true" 177cc v2 will be soon ;)

What engine are ya referring to when you say you ridden both?

yx 160 184 v2 head the 177 kit will be a goodie taz and yeah a 28 will be well worth it but stick with round slide i reckon

yeah engines are hard to compare...
no 2 engines are the same and also everyone's raping style is different..

**edit**
we just built a 65 X 57 z155 with an oko 28mm on it on friday night.
will be good to compare against the yx150 which 65 X 59 with a keihin 28mm bored to 29mm

hey sean when you swap cranks out of the Z engines , you would loose the extra compression wouldnt ya? coz the stock go 1mm further at tdc or something i heard.

Yer im deciding which carby to go first . 28mm and pc pipe i probably wouldnt need bbk after that.

What do ya's think of this?? havnt heard much about them

Says there designed for 4-strokes so you would think it would have it over the other carbs from the start?

yeah the piston was down the bore more than normal.. not sure what was the reason, could of been the piston or could of been the rod.

and yep i wana try one of those carbs on one of my big blocks if and when i do one, but i think ill go 30mm

few dudes on PM rave about them

Yer i think they just have a longer rod on the 155 . z155 / 150 / 160 all share same piston as far as i no.

Sweet i will have to ask around on pm when the time comes will be good to try one of them out.

Do you no what type manifold they use , the usual rubber boot?

carby wise i havent looked much into it..

but getting back to the z155 conrod thing.. its sort of irrelevant when your changing the crank and rod..
thats where blue printing comes into it...
cc the head and and work out the deck height and calculate the comp. then machine the barrel to suite
