Yeah but its not rating your video card at all properly considering that outcome, its not taking into account how much juice your video card is using, not even close!!
...can you link me this program please?? I want to have a look at it!

2 different rigs?

msi gt70 0nd laptop.....that program is for a desktop mate!!! :/

Check first post. Pics of my comp. Ive never run laptops, but having said that they're still upgradable like a PC.....mate you've got me so confused....you havnt actually gone and bought a desktop PC power supply for a laptop have you?? :bigcry:

Ah well I might have something for you if you want?? i3 540 with a Thors hammer cooler on an Gigabyte UD4-P board...thinking in the range of $200 and ill sort out postage. With that cooler on it and not even fans you can pull 3.5ghz stable from the CPU without going passed 60 degrees CPU temp!! I was planning when I bought this to do tons of overclocking with it up basically did a couple of runs backed it off and was done with it!!

One of these.

hmmm... i dunno man, thanks but no thanks, sorry. im not to keen on 2nd hand computer parts, never have been and never will. thanks again man!
im looking into a z97 mobo and a 700 series gfx card, maybe a i5 4th gen refresh too, not sure yet. still have to get an engine for the cini!

Your spot on Loco. The day's of big power sucking power supplies are long gone.

Most components now days use much less power than even a year ago.

You would only need a 1000watt power supplely if you had:

5 plus hard drives - Spinning ones not SSD's as they are very power efficient
2 x Optical Drives - Blueray
2 x CPU's
2 x Graphic Cards

You won't have any problems with your setup.

I have a fairly average laptop, I'm no computer expert, lol

I have a Lenovo....That's right, Lenovo.

i5, 8GB RAM, nVidia geForce 1gb graphics card. Plays all the games I want it too oh highest graphics, although one upgrade I'm looking at is an SSD drive mainly for the OS, I've heard it makes a big difference to system performance ?

Read the last 20 posts. lol

Massive difference to performance with an SSD. :)
