if you want to keep the track dry, do what we did and put some sort of irragation system in, all you have to do is make the majority of the water flow away from the track, this means filling in any ruts and potholes, and so on, this will get the track nice and dry when the sun does come out as it only has a small amount of water to get rid of,
it is harder than it sounds though as it took us two or three different setups to get the water flowing away nicely.

we used to dig motes at our bmx tracks down the saide of the track into a little dam it was sweet

snitchy make the jumps waaaay longer so you have to go flat out.
