:)HI all running a thump expert but want to get rid of battery is this poss as dont run lights or any other leckies on bike any info cheers louisrevo
 
yeah mate get rid of it and tape up ya leads .... think that's all I did ... you can get rid of the starter motor too but it may leave a gap that you'll have to cover with a plate ...I didn't bother

But yeah it's been years since I've had a battery it was 110 and I think that's all I did... if I'm wrong someone will tell us .
 
yeah, just um, seperate the wires before taping them up...

my old postie was so old it needed the battery:p thank god for cdi....

ever tried adjusting points and dealing with mechanical advance?
 
Cheers dread top info took it off taped up and chopped away battery box run sweet and looks better once again thanks LOUISREVO
