top speed gain from larger front sprocket?

i recently ordered a 16t front sprocket for my 125cc ducar, will it make a noticeable difference going from 41/14 to 41/16 sprocket gearing?

will it still have decent acceleration and better top speed because right now its got a lot of acceleration but the top speed is a bit slow compared to my mates 125's

15 probably be more appropriate , but try it out ... its only a cheap sprocket..

yeah it only cos $10 so if its too much acceleration loss i will get a 15t for it then, do you know approx. how many kmh top speed the 16t would gain

different wheel size / different engine size etc all have something to do with it .. but no i dont .. you got it coming so just wait and try it out..

i have gone for a 17/41 setup from a 14/41 on my 125cc ducar and i have found it heaps better. you do lose a little acceleration yet i have found this better as you arn't smashing through the gears with heaps of wheel spin.
