Any info on ride spots locally around T'Ville or even within two hours would be great even if it's just a happy farmer that will let reasonably responsible adult kids ride his paddocks. Cheers!!!!!!!

OMG, I found some townsvillians at last!

Hey guys, Im in Townsville too! Been here since june '07... been trying to find places to ride as well... been going out Bohle way, turning off the highway at the firestation where Ingham road meets woolcock/hwy...
You guys know of any other places?

Maybe we should meet up for a bash one day..?

Yeah man, that Bohle place I mentioned is pretty easy to find. And it's pretty fun to ride.. heaps of different dirt tracks and jumps.. not exactly a "motoX park" but after years of dudes riding out there it may as well be..
Get on Woolcock street and drive towards Ingham, it turns into the bruce Highway. Not far out of town, you'll go over a bridge and if you look left you'll notice a whole bunch of tracks and dirt roads through the grassland and scrub. At the end of the bridge is an intersection where Ingham road meets the highway. On the left you'll see a fire station.. turn left at the lights and then take the first left after that (its only about 30 meters from the lights) and its a really shitty road with a million massive pot holes.
Just drive along and it will open up after about 200 meters.. just park anywhere, if you go on a weekend you'll see heaps of people out there riding.
There's another place where people do a lot of riding and trashing of bombed out cars, known as "the savannah".. but it's all dried up swamp land and mangrove salt pans so if you value your bike at all, i wouldnt ride there, your bike will just rust to pieces in no time.

Id say lets meet up and go for a ride, but Im going overseas in 3 weeks and Ive packed up my trailer, so Ive got no way of getting me and my bike out there!

I know there thinking of getting the junior motards going, I've been racing a mini bike out there(sun city go-kart track) for a year now but am in the motolite class as there wasn't a specific class for mini motard, we run a different style frame(more road bikeish) with a 150 cc stock motor(soon to be 4valve), every race is different, as im the only mini out there and am mixing it with the 2-stroke bigger bikes(buckets and historic), next meet is feb 5th i believe the more interest is noticed especially now as the RRAT(Road Racing Association of Townsville) has just moved out on there own and have mentioned junior motards to us, which means senior mini motard could soon prevail, but please come out and support any racing with minis involved as it is frowned upon more than accepted right now, but times are changing, just slower than normal, you can also ride at Ollera it is about 80k's north on the Bruce, the turn off is approximately 50 metres on the right before the Paluma turnoff, there is fencing and a rail crossing and stop sign, park just off the highway and ride, be wary of 4wd,s.

Yea my dad and bros and most of my mates ride Motard I'm looking into mini ill have to cone in to big boys and get different setup for bike I have and look into new bike for dirt or vice versa
