I've got dpro 155z motor I'm do the first service wats the best oil to use in it an how long does the oil filter last when should it be changed
 
I use Castrol 4t mineral oil, if the filter is paper and the oil isn't black you could reuse it again but if it is black I would replace it.

I'm going to start the nasty arguments with Fuchs silkolene FTW

I've got the same engine as you with 25+ hours replaced the filter once. With about 8 oil changesDo your self a favour n but a magnetic sump plug ASAP!

I put one in after about 10 hours. And each oil change I did I got a mountain of swarf on the plug! But thats just my opinion, up to you pal!
 
It catches a lot of the metallic bits and sludge from continuing to circulate through the engine meaning longer life essentially.

Im not cashed up. I just ride a honda and you can put anything in them
