What brand is the tyre? Cheap chinga tyres tend to get punctures. Best option is a good quality tyre such as dunlop, vee rubber or even kenda. A kenda tough tube is about twice the thickness of regular tubes and you need rimlocks.

yeh man.. throw something like a kenda tuff tube i her and it should be alright =)
all you need to watch is if your doing it yourself is when you put it in to be gentle! patient! use tire leavers over screwdriver and at best NOTHIN and dont nip the tube going in =)

tubes are just a pain in the rectum but i can pritty much pick em up dirty cheep so its just time but yeh use detergent if you have to, to make it easier to get the tire on ;)

good luck

haha mate. dont bother i have had the same problem as i have gone through 9 tubes-10 including the stock within 4-5months.. and then i cracked the *****, i had it. took it to the motor bike shops. got them to put a rim lock in. and they then said to me, i had no rim tape that could of been causing the probelm aswell. they then did all this with v-rubber tube stronger then kenda as i was shown. then 20-22psi was put in, and i havent had a probelm so far.. i meber i poped 2 valves in 2 days. fuckn **** house when your in another subrub and you have to ride back with flat back tyre..

but yeh i hope this helps you..

hey dude if you are getting flat tyres just from running over prickles your tyres must be pretty crap lol

Yeah you're probably getting flat tyres from not having a high enough PSI

Have it at about 25- 30 and the tube shouldn't slip, mine hasn't. But get a rimlock anyway.

hi guys thanks for all the help. i think my tyre is a cheap one and im going to take it to the bike shop and get the tyre and tube and a rim lock installed and hopefully i dont get another flat for a while

i can gurantee you you wont get a flat, make sure u tell them 20-22psi because that way you use all of the knobbys insted of just burning off the middle

hi guys i havent had a chance to go to the bike shop yet so i decided to take the tyre off and pull the tube out to find that the valve had completly torn from the tube. does any one no y this has happend or no of a good way to fix it and stop it from happining again

thats because they have to much power thats why u need a rim lock to stop the tube spinning on the rim

get a ! RIM LOCK !

and new tyre(dunlop, bridgstone or kenda all good and get tuff tubes

Something similar happened to me, i got a place to put a rimlock in and they put in a vee rubber tube cos my old one was pretty screwed and now i don't reckon i'll have any problems again.
Definately get a rimlock, vee rubber or kenda tube and a decent tyre like innova, kenda, dunlop etc.
Cheers.
