Upgrading my rear brake.

Gary from SikTendanciesRacing made the adapter kit to run the yz250f or yz450f Nissin master cylinder. I'm guessing there must be something good about that master so I'd follow his lead on that one

Seems a bit of overkill for a mini though?

I don't want to lock the real wheel every time I use the brake. lol

Yep, that's the same as what I've got. I'm not sure how good that master will go. I recon its just as good, maybe just harder to fit because we'll have to make an extra bracket for the resi

A not about instant wheel-locking brake power but more about a nice feel from a brake that works the way it should without fade

I've gone the yz250 master cylinder because the resi doesn't have to be rerouted somewhere else its all one piece.
The bracket template that I made might not fit that one but fits the yz master perfect, and I can supply spaces and bolts if needed.
I'd say $20 posted if anyone wants to go that way. Have a look at my lxr thread to see and PM me if you want more info.

With the stock lxr rear brake you would need to also get a new brake line with a 10mm banjo at either end the stock is 10 at caliper and 8 at master.
The nissin master runs a 10mm banjo, but ooracing have some bling colored lines made to order.

Swapping out just the master is only fixing half the problem. Less than half actually. Still a pain in the ass to bleed and change pads

The braided line the master cylinder bracket and the kx 65 / 85 rear calliper mount it was $149 for the kit and $30 shipping . Ive already brought a 2007 yzf 450 master and a kx 85 / 65 rear calliper

Schmick man can't wait to see it all hooked up.
Let us know what ya think, I reckon I'm only gonna do the master for now it ends up being pretty costly doing the whole change over when adding on the master and caliper, I knew I could do up a bracket for the master myself to keep the cost down so that's as far as I go.
All thou I do have a works connection cover coming for it so that will give me heaps more stopping power and some more cred haha.
