hey all,
Im pretty new to this forum and moto's in general, so chances are my questions have been asked and answered many times over, but rather than sifting thru hundreds of posts, I figured Id just ask again.(and please if you are so kind as to respond, can ya dumb it down a bit? Im easily confused by tech talk..:p )

Ive got a 125cc AGB-21, but I think it's a fake... or at least an incredibly cheap version of one:mad: ... it has a no name engine, no name everything... I think the only thing genuine is the mikuni carby...
Now I know these are cheap bikes so dont give me flak about my "cheap POS":D

Anyway, Im thinking of replacing the engine with a 140cc Lifan Outlaw, so Im wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions... ie. "dont waste your time and/or money" or "make sure you ...<insert helpful suggestion here>..."

Also wondering, is there much difference between the "Big Bore - 140 Outlaw" and the so-called "Lifan 140 racing engine"?
Is the 25mm Mikuni gonna be good enough to run it? run it well?
And will the stock standard exhaust/muffler do alright till I decide to spend more cash and upgrade?

Im not into racing (yet) so "super hardcore mega performance" isnt really that much of a concern of mine, but in my area (townsville) theres some pretty f..ken gnarly rough as guts wasteland on the outskirts of town with enough goat tracks, jumps and home made racing circuits to keep any rider happy for years, so I do want a bike with a bit of grunt.

Sorry Ive gotten a bit long winded, so if you've read this far, Thanks a bunch!

cheers, Phil

PS. I am still reading and searching thru past posts... just in case you were thinkin Im lazy

yep, as far as I know, they'll bolt straight in without any hassles.... Guess I was just wondering if anyone thats done it found "easy" ways, or made mistakes which they learned from ;-)

So, would a 30mm carby be more suitable? Would the 25mm just flake out all together? or would it just be a case of running vs. running well?

Your 25mm carbi will be 22mm...to small... if ur not after massive speed you would be WAY better off upgrading the suspension and then the exhaust, carbi, IRK, 1/4 turn etc.... bike will fly

dont pour money into your POS
you better off buying a new bike
either a dhz 140 , pp140 , pp140xr or if you feel you have the cash anything of mso......
you can pick up a dhz 140 for under 750 shipped
it already has all the mods you need to do to your agb 21 to make it work
so if you havnt already bought the 140cc lifan , keep saving ;P
