na the picture quality is **** if you want good footage you need some thing that gose in to a vidieo camera it cost a bit to set up but its worth it in the long run you get almost dvd quality footage check out Launch Helmet Cams : Home

They've also got one that shoots DVD quality footage thats also waterproof for about a thousand bucks
