what bike do i have?

hi all im tryna find out what kinda bike i have and hopefully you can help me out as im new to these forums, anyways on the side on the engine theres covers that say lifan on them, the bike was bought off ebay. im stuck between thinking its a 125 or a 140, if anyone can help me diagnose this or point me in the right direction id be greatly appreciated , cheers

its a mxb bike and a lifan engine and yeh like lil john sed have a look at the barrel

what do you mean by barrel, as in the carby barrel? cause there doesnt seem to be and marking on it, cheers

its a 125 im pretty sure. yeh its 125....

mate look at the motor ... theres the head and then the barrel and then your bottom end ...

the barrel on the left side should say the displaxcement on it

the only thing i can see stamped on in around the head/barrel area is 124cm3

It'll actually be a 120 cc engine ... Lifan makes 52.4 x 55.5 (120 cc) ... 54 x 55.5 (127 cc) ... 55 x 59 (140 cc) ... 56.5 x 59 (150 cc) ...

They mark 124 cm3 ... and 138 cc on the cylinder barrels but when measured they are 120 cc and 127 cc ... If your engine was a 127 they most certainly wouldn't put 124 on the side ... (I've got one that I tore down and checked ... 124cm3 "125 Super Motor" = 120 cc ) ... They get away with it because the big valve head makes 'em feel more powerful than a small valve head 120 or 123 ...
