Who works on bikes and sells these chains mate, I'm feckin confused, only good for the bin geez your brains on drugs dude, i didn't bag on anything in my statement I just made a statement and shared my opinion. Bagging is being done by you as in saying bin it.
Anyways I'm out of this one.
Not baggin you out at all man. Chill out. Re-read Rodney's earlier post. He says he recommends this DID chain to all his customers whose bikes he works on, and that is the chain that they buy. Hmmm. And have you ever bought a new motocross bike?? From any of the Jap manufacturers ?? They all use DID chains on the new bikes, and those chains stretch like elastic. Its easier to put them in the bin and throw on a good chain before you even ride the bike. Which also makes my point that its pretty easy to get on here and bag on products.

Yeah no worries mate I'm always chilled I just once again didn't read every line in people's posts and just thought it was directed at me as you didn't quote it so was wondering hiw you thought i sold then haha, but lad if I saw it as insult then maybe it's more that someone else is getting heated about this chain rivalry that's going on haha. In all honesty I don't give a rats arse what chain people get or use or don't use I know what works for me so blender mate get what you want to try and see for yourself bud.
I'm going to bed before I miss read something else and get myself into shlt.

as much of a fan of preventative maintenance, on a 70 and a low power 125 and even my tb head 155 are still on the stock chain with quite a few hours on the 155 and heaps on the 70 and 125 both are at a stage where i would replace them.. if they were not just farm bikes they will go for alot longer untill they break.. its likley for the chain on my 155 to break soon as i flogg it but then i will go to a did chain for longevity sake

I've got a did chain on my Lxr, pitpro and Kawasaki
The lxrs one sometimes needs constant adjustment then its fine
Kxf hasn't needed adjusting since I got it months ago
Pitpros the same as the kxf

Pitpro is a #428
Kxf is a #528 o ring
Lxr is a #420 o ring that I just replaced
What chain wax do you use? I'm using maxima clear chain lube that seems pretty good

My stock chain on the kxf was did and it stretched really quick, the new one hasn't at all though

Wow, i had no idea what a can of worms i was opening here.
@motovert24 i used the same stuff. my friend gave me some and it was pretty good stuff. dont know where to get it though as i haven't seen it around? The DID seems to be the go, alot of people like them. so i will put my past experience with DID aside and see what this is like.
cheers,
jack

Harry i use Castrol Chain Oil from Supercheap after cleaning the chain and turn the rear wheel by hand backward and forward for a while for it to get into the rollers and wipe off the extra oil off the outside of chain.
