We went to a motorbike shop and got the smallest fuel filter they had. I think it's this one. It looks like it

Anyway it's still too big. We cut the hose and tried to put it on but it still wouldn't go. We had to stretch the hose heaps. We eventually got it on but I don't trust it on there because it was too big for the hose in the first place.

The hose also has little holes in it now from us trying to use pliers to fit the damn filter on because it was so big. So I want to get a new hose and a smaller filter.

What filters do you guys use for your Pitpros that actually fit?

Thanks.

What i did was turn off my fuel take the fuel line off and wash it out then cut it where you want the filter and the two ends that go on the filter heat them up with a lighter not to much other wise it will melt, alls you want it to be is soft enough to slip over easly and then let it cool down and put it back on ur moto.

don't buy it from

they suck!! for parts, go to your local Motorcycle dealer! fuel filter $5 good quaility & the right size

Yeah, I got mine from a motorbike shop and it was the smallest they had and it's still too big.

qwerty, we used boiling water and it didn't really work. Wouldn't boiling water do the same?

strange, the one i got is perfect....... for Both CRF50 And 125cc knockoff

just checked that is the one i have & it's great i would recomend you get some new hose's coz if that does fit you are doing somthing wrong!

P.S fuel hose is spose to be hard to get on the filter/taps (smaller coz it stretches)

How many seconds did you have the lighter on it for?

Did you have to stretch yours as well?

yep use hot water the lighter is dodgy cos if you burn the plastic it will leak, just keep the boiling water running over the lines for a while then just jam it in there it takes a bit of mucking around
i had to use the hot water about three times on each side cos my filter was on the border line of fitting
just keep trying and youll get though

Dozza I have the same fuel filter as you on my Outlaw and its the best one ever!! in fact the bike shop didn't stock any better, it's really small, you can see when it's full of crap and there's not a chance in hell anything would get through it.
