Someone wants me to fix it for them. It runs good but needs parts. Anyone ever heard of it or know what brand this bike is? I need a handful of parts for it but cant really find anything when searching. Thanks. Its kind of a neat bike.

Bitsa huh? Never heard of it. Any idea what year it was made? Any website to get parts? It needs a new throttle cable assembly, new throttle grip, rear brake lever assembly, gas tank lid, rear shock, and possibly a gear is stripped out because when you kick start, it doesn't return and when it runs its make a heck of a noise in that area. Thanks!

Bista = Bits of everything! :)

Most of the parts you'll find in eBay mate! Measure your shock from eye to eye, length of you throttle cable. Pretty sure most of those 49/50cc kicker gears are universal.

Hope that helps.

Bitsa means bits of this bits of that..... (Aussie slang)

the engine is a copy of an old Indian engine Morini Franco S5K

i'm guessing there is a worn guide or spring in the kickstart mechanism that needs to be replaced ?

looks like you could make your own using a bicycle cable

otherwise ask around in Georgia, the motorcycle shops would be able to point you in the right direction i'm sure.

Oh wow lol thanks a ton guys! Should be easy to fix now.

OK I got the kicker to return after each kick now (the spring just needed to be rewound), but the little gear that shoots out and contacts the gear on the engine to start it, it isn't returning or something so when it starts it just stays in contact and is stripping out. Making a ton of noise (you can imagine). The spring on the gear that kicks out looks OK. Any ideas what the problem is?

Here's a picture of the gear. I have been searching and searching and have not found this exact gear and spring. Also, you can see the crank gear has a large amount of teeth missing. This may be the gear but it has no spring - Italjet Pista 50cc Kick Start Pinion Gear | eBay

OK the final drive gear busted when I rode it so I am parting this out. Too hard to find parts and I don't have a press or anything to replace the gear. If anyone wants anything let me know. Engine ran great! Cranked very easily and idled well. I guess I need to post 5 more time before I can post in the FS section.

I know this thread is very old but I have the same exact bike. My 10 year old started on it when he was 6, and now my youngest son is six and he is riding it now. I acquired this 50 from an uncle for free. His 22 year old son also started on it at age 6. Very good bikes still pulls my 200 lb bitt around with ease. But just like you it's time to replace some parts and having trouble with a make. Not that it's really needed the Franco Moroni s5k engine was on many makes of bike from itiajet, LEM and KTM up to the late 90s. I guess the curiosity is just killing me to know which one this is! At least I know now that it has a clone, which means it isn't just pieced together with left over donor parts.IMG_0757.JPG
