hey guys ive just bought myself a 2nd hand 125cc Atomik bike, i dont know stuff all about what model it is or anything all i know is that when i was riding it today i snapped the hub where the rear chain sprocket screws in. So im looking to buy a new rear wheel but i have no idea what size my axle is whether its 12mm or 15mm? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Cheers

well the thread sticking out the end appears to be 12mm but wasnt sure if it fattened in the middle or not. so that would mean that its a 12mm axle yeah?

will do that tomorrow, was just kinda hoping someone could tell me so i could order new wheel tonight. cheers for help guys. im sure you'll see much more dumb questions from me too come. Have never owned a bike in my life so yeah am an absolute noob

If it is an atomik motox (the kind with telescopic forks) it is 12mm rear and 12mm front. If it is an atomik nitrous (the kind with usd forks) it is 15mm front and 15mm rear.

i have no idea what either of those things are lol. not only is this my first bike but ive also never been around bikes

only picture i have at the moment. if cangt help ill just pull it apart tomorrow and measure it.
Cheers for help guys

Thats the old atomik RS and is running the new style hubs and wheels which means its should be the 15mm axle. Hey Bud get out a ruler and pull the wheel off and measure the I.D (I.D stands for Inner diamiter) of the bearings...That will tell you what size you need. Then to buy a new one go to DHZ Mini Moto and purchase a new one ;)

cool cheers for help guys. have spent all my life playing with cars and never touched motorbikes lol
