hi,
I have been looking at heaps of bikes on he internet lately and i was just seeing what would be a recomended bike to get from someone who knows.
The bike im after would be a bike that is suitable for small jumps and just general riding around (im 17 so general riding around for me is riding at all paces, from fricken fast to cruzing around. i will be riding it around my grandads farm in myrtleford (norht east victoria) which during the colder months of the year get pretty mudy so it would have to be handle that sort of stuff.
sooo....ive been looking on ebay, some of the bikes there are total piece's of crap and some look pretty nice, but i spose looks can be decieving.i dont have heaps to spend (probably max spendingness will be around $1000)
incase anyone is wondering im pretty good with mechanical stuff, ive mainly worked on cars, tractors and a few motors connected to pumping systems to get water out of a river (the motor is some huge 6 cylinder merc motor from a truck)
are orions, atomics, or pro x bikes any good?
(after today im away for 2 weeks on school holidays to the country so i will not be able to soo your replies for a while)
