hi guys,

i been looking at mini bikes for a little while now and
wanted to know what bike u guys recomend to start
of with. i was thinking of a 150cc atomik hummer, is this
a good or a bad bike.

General consensus is that Atomik's are very poor quality. for a similar price you can get a Pit Pro which will be much better and last longer. Then agian, that's a "pit bike". The 150's and up seem to be bigger full sized bikes. don't know a lot about the chinese full size bikes.

I'll be getting a PitPro 125 RR

How much do you wanna spend mate??
Thats the best Way to start the ball rolling, so Someone Can give you some advice :D

Cheers ;)

Can anyone Else through in some words, dont know too much about tha Monsoon pitty, seen it on ebay once or twice but didnt take a huge look...

Do you have a link mate...

Does that bike come with a bash plate?

the quality between atomik and pitpro is pretty much the same, your going to snap bolts and need new wheel bearings pretty quick on either. its just the pitpro's have lifan motors and just look a bit less tacky IMO.

forget about the hummers of any of the 150/200/250cc china bikes.

that monsoon doesnt look real special, older style lifan and crap forks and shocks... but thats about all your going to get at that price. IMO, the pitpro is a lot nicer for that price range.

but buying a 600-700 pitbike is really false economy, the suspension is so **** on any of them... factor in a few bucks to upgrade to at least fastace forks and rear shock, which is easily another 600 or so...

so you may as well just buy a MSO pro for $1395 if you dont wanna have to **** around with it so much.. but you're still gonna have to tighten bolts (loctite) and grease the axles + headstock and probably change the wheel bearings. set of protaper bars would be nice too. at least it has 12" rims front and rear so you just need to slap sticky scooter tyres on and go 'tarding

..... steel rims, 22mm carby,
"crmo frame" -yeah right!
looks like any other china bike.

Depends totally on budget, and it looks ok for a $650 bike, but remember, you get what you pay for...

There is some positive feedback being received from Retail outlets about the quality of this bike attached, compared to the like of Atomik who are renowned for there cracking frames. These are of high quality and your backed with a 12-month warranty which is reassuring, even a money back guarantee-as long as its not been riden.

How does a buyer know if the bike is right for them without being able to REMOVE it from the packaging or even be able to ride it without VOIDING the return guarantee??

Just remove the outer box to inspect your dirt bike. Please do not remove inner packaging materials, the inner metal frame, and wire ties, as these protect the item whilst in transit. This is important, because refunds will not be given if the inner packaging is tampered with in any way whatsoever.

you dont happen to work for oztion do you?

they dont look real special either :p

Nope don't work for oztion.

Pics may not do it them justice but trust me, if you can get down there to inspect, do.... it will be well worth it. Not long to have hit the Australian market but the reviews have been outstanding....many are saying "best i've seen yet" !!!!!! :D

Are pitpros made by BSE? I know MSO's are made by BSE and thats the only thing that makes not buy one, the bike I have now is a BSE and it was the worst quality ever.

My pitpro138 came with a BSE manual so I guess they do.
Pretty happy with the quality though but like ninetysix said gonna need some suspension work

Well wheel bearings and suspension was one of the few things that wasnt a problem on my BSE so I don't think thats true, though I weigh only about 50kg so thats prob why.

well i weigh about 85-90kg and the wheel bearings spat their seals out pretty quick

im quite happy with my BSE, ***** all over AGB's that ive seen and has a lifan :p
