does an IRK work on a ducar 125 with an elec and kick start but i never use the elec start its always started with kick starter?

do you have to take estart shit off or can you just install the irk and not use elec start, if not what needs to come out?
cheers matt

would take out the estart , but wouldn´t putv a IRK on that thing....your clutch is for sure on the crank and with a IRK you bust your engine in notime...go and search Inner rotor conversion ;)

With a lot of E-start engines the flywheel is reversed and the stator is mounted inside the flywheel cover ... The IRK stator bolts to the cases in place of a stock manual start engines' stator ...

It's better to sell the engine and buy a hi-po one if you want more bang-bang ...

As long as it isn't electric start it'll fit ... but once again the auto clutch is on the crank and mightn't handle the quicker rev up of the IRK ... What happens is that they start to balloon outwards ... Die cast metal can't handle higher crank rpms ... it starts to break up after a while ...

Start in gear engines have the clutch on the tranny where it does around 1/3 rd of the revs of the crankshaft ...
